COMMUNITY INITIATIVES FUND CALL FOR ADJUDICATION COMMITTEE APPLICATIONS
The Community Initiatives Fund is inviting applications from individuals throughout Saskatchewan who are interested in serving on one of our four Adjudication Committees! The Adjudication Committees will be responsible for reviewing applications to our Community Grant Program and making grant recommendations to the CIF Board of Directors.

TEAM SASK MISSION STAFF
Applications are now open for Team Sask mission staff or the 2019 Canada Winter Games in Red Deer, AB and the 2019 Western Canada Summer Games in Swift Current. In addition to individuals with a proven sport background, they are also in need of those with a passion for communications/social media/media engagement. APPRENTICE COACH OPPORTUNITIES – 2019 CANADA WINTER GAMES
1. The Aboriginal Apprentice Coach Program (AACP) provides the opportunity for each province and territory to send 2 coaches of Aboriginal ancestry to the Canada Games in apprenticeship roles. Please click here for a list of participating sports.
The objectives of the AACP are to build coaching capacity within Aboriginal communities, provide Aboriginal Apprentice Coaches with domestic multi-sport games exposure, provide professional development and learning opportunities to prepare them for high level coaching, create exposure to elite/high performance coaches, and ensure coaches are prepared to handle a meaningful role during the Canada Games experience.
2. The Women in Coaching Canada Games Apprenticeship Program (WIC) provides the opportunity for each province and territory to send 2 female coaches to the Canada Games in apprenticeship roles. Please click here for a list of participating sports.
The purpose of the Women in Coaching Apprenticeship Program is to provide female coaches with a practical and integrated major national multi-sport games experience. Selected coaches have direct involvement in preparation and competition and receive support from an identified mentor coach throughout the duration of the program.
QU’APPELLE VALLEY MUSIC FESTIVAL:
New Committee of Volunteers is needed to form an executive committee to take over the festival for the 2018 and 2019 music festival. This festival has been running in the communities for 60 years but will not be able to continue for 2018 if not enough volunteers are found. Your support is needed to keep it alive.
