Debbie Griffith is an adult educator and intercultural facilitator with extensive experience in the fields of adult literacy, English as an Additional Language (EAL), and intercultural teaching and learning. Most recently, Debbie worked as Intercultural Learning Specialist with Saskatchewan Polytechnic where she worked with students, staff, faculty and organizational leaders on initiatives that bridged cultural differences and enhanced cultural inclusion.  

Since retiring in the fall of 2019, Debbie is now focusing on creating more culturally inclusive and respectful communities and workplaces through her roles as intercultural and anti-racism facilitator and community activist. 

Debbie has an M.Ed. with special interest in EAL critical pedagogy and anti-racist, anti-oppressive education, and she is an active member of the Saskatoon Anti-Racism Network and SURJ-YXE (Showing Up for Racial Justice). Debbie also serves as a Multicultural Council of Saskatchewan (MCoS) Intercultural and Anti-Racism Facilitator.
