You choose the time, you choose the journey, you move forward in a good way.
June 21st is National Indigenous Peoples Day across Turtle Island (Canada). PCD wants you to take a walk outside for one hour on Sunday and reflect on what reconciliation means to you while connecting with Mother Nature.
Open your eyes and see the colours of the trees and sky, listen to the wind and the birds, smell the sage and wild roses, taste and breathe the freshness in the air, and ground yourself to the earth with your bare feet.
Think about where your ancestors came from, think about where you live and the history of the land, and the treaty it lies within. Think about reconciliation today, tomorrow and into the future. How does it make you feel, what can you do, what do you need help with, and who can you talk to about it?
On June 21st connect and reflect. #wearealltreatypeople —
