The online Respect in Sport Activity Leaders/Coach Program educates youth leaders, coaches, officials and participants (14-years and up) to recognize, understand and respond to issues of bullying, abuse, harassment, and discrimination.
It may be the single most important training your leaders will receive to assist them in creating a safe, healthy and respectful environment for all participants!
All active, registered coaches and activity leaders within Sask Sport’s provincial sport membership are required to complete the program.

Building off our 2022 Rally Report in partnership with Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities (Jumpstart), we’re diving further into the barriers girls and gender-diverse participants face within sport. Body changes and menstruation combined with social and cultural pressures can contribute to low body confidence in girls. As a result, many girls feel uncomfortable and are pushed out of sport.
Designing sport environments that take girls’ body confidence into consideration is one way we can build better and safer sport.
