Thomas Favel is the Indigenous Coaches and Officials Program Coordinator. As a First Nation former high-performance soccer player and new coach, Thomas has represented the province of Saskatchewan in both streams of sport, Indigenous and mainstream.

Thomas will share personal insight of being a First Nation athlete and coach, as well as providing information that pertains to Indigenous Athletes such as terminology, brief history of Indigenous people, ways of understanding Indigenous Athletes, and where they come from.

The lunch and learn will be a place to ask questions and deepen the understanding of Indigenous Athletes participating in sport within Saskatchewan.
