Regional Gathering – STOPS to VIOLENCE
November 3 @ 10:00 am - November 30 @ 4:00 pm

Safer communities aren’t created by one organization, one program or one system.
They grow through many layers of community life: strong relationships, people looking out for one another, trusted places to turn, accessible information, opportunities to belong and professional services that are available when specialized support is needed.
Over the past several weeks, we’ve shared some of the ideas we’ll be exploring through the STOPS Regional Gatherings: natural supports, connectors, Community Animation, community ecosystems, travelling information and different ways communities and institutions can work alongside one another.
Now we’d like you to bring your experience and perspective to the conversation.
These gatherings are an opportunity to hear what STOPS to Violence has learned through five years of Community Animation work, connect with others in your region and explore what we might do differently together.
What could we do differently if we recognized community itself as an essential part of our violence prevention infrastructure?
Come connect. Share what you are seeing. Bring your questions and ideas. Help us explore what stronger community systems of care could look like across Saskatchewan.

Not able to attend but interested in this work? We invite you to stay connected as we continue sharing what we’re learning.
