Saskatchewan Sport Awards

November 1 - December 20
Do you know a coach or volunteer who has spent countless hours dedicating themselves to the amateur sport community? How about an individual or a group who has inspired others through sport?
If so, nominate them in the Recognition Awards category for the 41st Annual Saskatchewan Sport Awards, which honour long-time service as a volunteer or coach, as well as celebrates stories of courage and determination.
The three Recognition Award categories are:
•    Coach Dedication
•    Volunteer Dedication
•    Inspire Through Sport
Nominations can be submitted by Sask Sport members, sport community groups, media or the general public and are due Saturday, Nov. 1 at 11:59 p.m.

Also open for nominations are the Excellence Awards, which acknowledge top performances and results for athletes, coaches and teams in the province.
There are six categories, including:
•    Athlete of the Year – Male/Female
•    Youth Athlete of the Year – Male/Female
•    Coach of the Year
•    Team of the Year
Nominations for these categories are due Saturday, Dec. 20 at 11:59 p.m.
The 42nd Annual Saskatchewan Sport Awards will take place on the evening of Thursday, January 28 in Saskatoon at Prairieland Park.
